INSURANCE RELATIONS MANAGER
------------
Location: MEDAN, PALEMBANG, SEMARANG, YOGYAKARTA, MAKASAR
JOB PURPOSE:
Implement sales and support strategies in conjunctions with
the Bank Area Manager and Branch Managers to achieve the sales
target of the company insurance products (single premium products,
credit life and bundled portfolio) via the identified bank branches.
Own the relationship in all aspects:
support, development and training related.
Assume team responsibility for sales and service target
of the Bank Area Manager and corresponding Branch Managers.
Keep the Bank Area Management team constantly motivated and informed.
JOB DUTIES:
Maintain good and professional working relationship with
Bank Area Manager, Branch Managers, Bancassurance Specialist
and the branch team.
Establish and maintain professional relationship with assigned
Area Managers and Branch Managers of the Bank
Develop customer relationships with the Bank personnel
Generate sales from the branch by also assisting walk-in
/ phone-in queries, servicing referrals/business leads
as well as direct selling of Single Premium products.
Support and generate sales from Credit Life portfolio,
working closely with Loan Officers of the Bank
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in business or marketing related course,
with a minimum of 5 experience and responsibility for
achieving sales of a financial services product through
a third party. Ideally, 3 years experience in a banc
assurance or a retail sales management function.
Experience in managing relationships, ideally with
a major bank or other financial institution.
Good knowledge of life insurance theory and products.
Good knowledge of the retail banking environment.
Have experience in national travel and managing remotely.
Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Word,
Excel and PowerPoint
Having a `hands-on' approach to problem solving
Proficient in written and spoken English.
