Position 1: Technical Lead (Lead J2EE Designer/Consultant
You will work in Java/J2EE delivery projects to provide technical design and development expertise. You will be hands-on and work with local and off-shore teams to deliver projects on the technical aspects.
4 to 6 years of software development experience using Java /J2EE
Analyse requirements and functional specifications and translate into design and program specifications.
Be able to appreciate and understand users' business domain to carry out design effectively
Hands-on and be able to lead and guide developers, and work with local and offshore development team to deliver systems according to specifications
Knowledge and application of application design concepts using OO methodologies, and be able to design systems with performance, operational maintenance, and concurrency considerations. Be able to carry out database modelling and design
Assist in integration testing, be able to diagnose program defects, integration and performance issues and to recommend and carry out necessary follow-ups
Ensure completeness and quality of development work carried out
Be able to talk to clients when necessary to explain design rationale and defend design
Able to work independently as well as in teams
Good English skills
Key Skill needed:
Expert in J2EE (minimum 3 years in J2EE preferably 4+ years)
Hands-on experience in complete SDLC cycles
Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
Experience in common java application framework such as: Struts, Spring and Hibernate
Strong in Object Modeling and Data Modeling
Able to design using UML and familiar with design pattern
Experience in IBM Websphere, MQ or other Enterprise Application Server
Experience in Software Architecture and Design

Position 2: Java developer (experienced)
Experience in developing client-server applications using Java
Excellent understanding of Object Oriented methodology, analysis and design
Excellent understanding of multithreaded and multitier applications
Experience in XML
Experience with SQL and databases (Oracle is preferred)
Ability to learn and investigate new areas independently
Experience in common java application framework such as: Struts, Spring and Hibernate
Experience in IBM Websphere, MQ or other Enterprise Application Server (preferred)
Good attitude and team player
Can communicate in English (good English skills preferred)
