JAVA APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST - based in Singapore

Our client is a multinational company from USA

Job Responsibilities :

  • Ability to write and debug Java or Delphi, SQL, stored procs and Unix scripts
  • Ability to conduct data and business analysis.
  • Daily maintenance of applications and troubleshooting problems with the application as they arise
  • Support internal and external business customers
  • Prompt response and resolution of issues raised by business.
Job Requirements :
  • Excellent knowledge of CORE Java is a must. Experience in Delphi is an advantage. Both are preferable
  • Extensive experience with SQL and databases
  • Experience with UNIX scripting and editors (vi or emacs)
  • Familiarity in working on NT and Unix operating systems
  • Background in financial services/banking area will be preferred.
Other skills desired:
Knowledge of J2EE an advantage
Combination of Java and Delphi or Java and .Net skills
Knowledge of xml an advantage
A keen interest in learning the business side of hedge fund accounting.
